Nascar Sprint Cup Points Race Tightens as Teams on Purolator Dominate Top Positions

Daytona Beach, FL — Following Saturday night's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Coke Zero 400 race at Daytona International Speedway, teams running on Purolator filters continue to dominate the results of the 2010 season. Occupying two of the top three positions in driver's points, teams running on Purolator are in the thick of the series points battle. Four-time Cup champion Jeff Gordon finished third Saturday and moved into the second spot in points in his DuPont Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet on Purolator filters while his Hendrick teammate and four-time defending champion Jimmie Johnson is third in points through the first 19 races of the season.
