Jimmie Johnson took matters into his own hands Sunday at Kansas Speedway by driving his Purolator-equipped Lowe's Chevrolet Impala to a convincing victory in Round 4 of the season-ending NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase for the Championship. Driving for Hendrick Motorsports, Johnson, the five-time defending Cup champion led 197 laps for the his first Chase, his second victory of the season and the 199th career triumph for team owner Rick Hendrick and Purolator.
