TALLADEGA, AL — Despite a 31st place finish at Sunday's Aaron's 499 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race here at Talladega Superspeedway, four-time defending Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson continues to lead the series in driver's points though the first nine races this season. Driving the familiar Purolator-equipped Lowe's Chevrolet Impala for Hendrick Motorsports, Johnnson was in line for a solid top-10 finish when he crashed out of the race late in the event Sunday.
