Talladega, AL, October 31, 2010 — With three races left in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase for the Cup championship, Jimmie Johnson continues to hold the points lead after finishing eighth Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway in Round 7 of the season-ending Chase. Johnson, the four-time defending Cup champion, drives his familiar Purolator-equipped Lowe's Chevrolet for the Hendrick Motorsports team. The Chase battle moves to Texas Motor Speedway next weekend for Round 8 on the 10-race Chase schedule.
